Ettore Sequi is the Former Secretary General of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. He is a long-serving Italian and Euopean Union diplomat, who has been Italy’s Ambassador to China and the EU Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan among many other postings. He is the only Italian diplomat who has served as Chief of Cabinet to three Italian Foreign Ministers, and received the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
Ettore now Chairs a number of Italy’s most prominent companies and organisations, and is a columnist for La Stampa. He advises European companies facing international challenges as well as international organisations who need help understanding the EU.
