Alexander Rodnyansky is an economist, policy advisor, and entrepreneur. From 2020 to 2025, he served as an economic advisor to the President of Ukraine. He worked on wartime economic strategy, international negotiations, and the design of Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction framework. During this time, he also served on the Supervisory Board of Oschadbank, Ukraine's largest commercial bank, where he chaired the Strategy and Transformation Committee.
He is also an associate professor of economics at the University of Cambridge and a research affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Alongside his academic and public-sector work, he advises governments, financial institutions, multinational corporations.. He is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
